This article introduces the ConnecttoTeams Enterprise Messaging Portal.

This article is for you if your enterprise uses messaging service only, i.e., no calling services.

If your enterprise uses calling services (i.e., PBX or Trunk or both), see the introduction of the standard portal in the article Enterprise Portal.

Introduction

Welcome to ConnecttoTeams Enterprise Messaging Portal! This guide is designed to help Enterprise Admins configure and manage messaging services such as SMS and Chat.

Follow the steps below to get started and make the most of the portal's features.

1. Register Your Enterprise

After your provider creates your new enterprise account for either SMS or Chat or both services, you will receive a welcome email for your Messaging Portal access. Click on Complete button so you could log in to your Messaging Portal using your Microsoft Office 365 Global Admin account.

2. Initial Login

Upon your initial login, you will be asked to provide certain permissions to access your Microsoft O365 account such as shown in this picture.

You will be prompted to list Microsoft User Groups to sync. Members of these groups will appear in the Enterprise Portal and can be configured to use ConnecttoTeams apps. To restrict access to specific groups, list them here; leave the field empty to grant access to all users. Limiting groups can help manage user numbers and align with restrictive access policies. This list can be updated later if needed.

You will be redirected to the dashboard page of the Messaging Portal. The dashboard provides a bird's-eye view of your enterprise configuration and service status.

The Enterprise Admin Action Items table shows you several items that you can give "Grant Consent" to your provider which which are necessary.

Consult with your provider to determine if granting consent is the best option for you. Granting consent to your provider allows your provider to configure and manage the services on your behalf.

3. Teams Application Deployment and Sync'ing

When the provider deploys the Teams applications that your enterprise will use, you must complete the process by clicking whichever is the applicable button for your available service - "Sync SMS App" or "Verify Chat App". For more information, check article Deploy and Sync the SMS App to a Microsoft Teams Organization.
