This article introduces to the Enterprise Admins the SMS Domains page available in the ConnecttoTeams Enterprise Portal.
This page is only visible to you if your SMS provider requires 3rd party applications (ConnecttoTeams in this case) to register event listeners.
Note to the Service Provider
Specifically, the SMS provider referred to here are these providers: Netsapiens, RingLogix, United Cloud, Viirtue.
We don’t want to present to the Enterprise Admins the specific names of the platforms.
The fields are:
Domain: Your account in the SMS carrier/provider.
Carrier Profile: The name of the SMS Carrier Profile managed by your SMS carrier to store the API Credentials being used to connect to the SMS carrier.
Subscription ID: When present, this is the identifier given by the SMS carrier API to the ConnecttoTeams SMS server listening for inbound messages.
Date Subscribed: This is the last date the ConnecttoTeams SMS listener registered to the SMS carrier.
Expiry: The expiry of the ConnecttoTeams listener registration. Beyond this date, the SMS carrier will no longer give copies of inbound SMS messages to ConnecttoTeams. This could be used for troubleshooting for inbound SMS failures.
Troubleshooting:
If the expiry date is in the past, then this is the reason that that the inbound messages are not received. To fix, reach out to your Service Provider so that this SMS domain registration is deleted and can be re-registered by adding the domain again.
