This article introduces the SMS Transactions Report and how to use the search features to find specific records of SMS transactions.
The SMS Transactions Reports page shows records of SMS Transactions for all SMS-enabled phone numbers under your enterprise.
SMS Transactions Search Filter
Here are the steps to view the report.
From the Enterprise Portal, navigate to SMS > SMS Transactions.
Search for the desired SMS transaction records by using the Search box for quickly searching for string patterns or the Search Filters button for advanced searching.
Secure SMS
The Message is not included in the search when “Secure SMS” feature is enabled for the enterprise. For more info about Secure SMS, check here.
The information included in these records are:
Source (sending phone number)
Destination (receiving phone number)
Message (this is not visible to the provider)
Time
Direction (inbound or outbound)
Status (SENT or RECEIVED or FAILED)
For advanced searching, customize the search builder depending on your desired search result. Type the keyword in the Value field then press the Enter key to search.
Once the filter is applied, close the search builder.
Result:
The records matching the search pattern or filters will be shown.
Exporting Search Results
The search results can be exported as .CSV file by clicking the Export to CSV button.
A confirmation message will appear and the report will be generated in the background.
The progress of the SMS Transaction completion can be viewed from the Download.Go to the Downloads menu. Once completed, the report requested for export will be available here for the actual download. Click the download icon.
Result:
The file will be downloaded to your downloads folder.
Note
The content of the SMS message will be available but the search by SMS Message will not be applicable when Secure SMS is enabled.
