This article is applicable if the SMS number is hosted on any of these platforms: Netsapiens, RingLogix, United Cloud, Viirtue.
Problem: I am receiving SMS messages in my Carrier Portal, but they are not appearing in Microsoft Teams.
Solution:
Ensure that the user's domain has been added in ConnecttoTeams SMS > SMS Domains screen. For detailed instructions, check Manage SMS Domains for Enterprise.
If the domain is already registered and the expiry date is in the past, delete the domain and request your ConnecttoTeams Service Provider to re-add the domain to refresh the subscription with the SMS provider’s server.
Problem: I can send outbound SMS messages from my Carrier Portal but I cannot send outbound SMS message from my SMS app in Teams.
Solution:
Make sure the phone number is assigned the right SMS Carrier Profile. To know more about managing phone numbers, check Manage Phone Numbers.
