Call Recording, Pausing and Resuming Recording

Introduction

When a user is enabled for ConnecttoTeams Call Recording addon, all inbound and outbound calls are automatically recorded, along with any meetings they organize. Additionally, if a call recording user joins a conference, the meeting will be recorded—even if the organizer is not a call recording user.

Enterprise Admins may grant users permission to pause call recording when needed. This feature allows users with compliance call recording enabled to temporarily stop recordings during calls while discussing sensitive or confidential information, ensuring privacy while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Instruction for the Enterprise Admin

To enable or disable “Call Recording” and/or “Pause Call Recording” features for Teams users, make the changes by updating the affected PBX users. For more details, check Set Up PBX User (Individual).

Pausing Call Recording

During a call, you will receive an adaptive card in the PBX App. To pause the call recording, simply click the "Pause Recording" button.

Resuming Call Recording

You can resume a paused call recording by clicking on the "Resume Recording" button.
