Issue : App Takes a Long Time To Deploy

After clicking the sync button and patiently waiting, the app status still displays "Please wait, Setting up the Application in Teams."

Solution

Have the Global Admin review the Third-Party and Custom app permissions from the Teams Admin Center to ensure that third-party and Custom Apps are allowed.

1. Under Teams apps, click Permission policies.

2. Click Open Manage Apps.

3. Under Actions, click Org Wide app settings.

4. Ensure that the following settings below are on and saved.

5. Set the Upload custom apps to On for the Global (Org-wide default) policy.

Click on Teams apps, then select Setup policies. Next, under Manage policies, click Global (Org-wide default).

6. Once all settings are saved and turned on, the Global Admin should click the Sync <app> App button again on the enterprise dashboard page.

The Teams client (Desktop/Web/Mobile) needs to be restarted whenever any policy-related changes are made in the Teams Admin Center.
