The PBX App is an optional accessory to the PBX Connector service. Once it is installed by a user, it enables user-specific information to be exchanged between Teams and the PBX or UCaaS server. Some of the capabilities of the PBX App are:
- It can communicate with the SIP server to sync presence information
- It can generate adaptive call cards that can be displayed to a Teams user when pre-determined events occur (such as voicemail notifications)
- It can display the PBX user portal inside the Teams app.
- It is brand-able and can be customized to display your name, logo and other information.

Then the Sync PBX Teams Application windows will pop up, and click Provision Application.
The status will change from Pending Synchronization to Deployment in Progress.
It will take a few minutes for the App to be built and to show under the Custom Teams Application.Check the notification section, you should get three notifications by the time it is done.
When the app is not successfully deployed and the app goes through the verification state where the Verify <app> App button displays under the Action Required column, see the App Fails To Deploy to Teams Catalog Due to Microsoft Migration.
Verification may take up to 48 hours.
Troubleshooting the App
If the Enterprise wants to redeploy the app or if there's an issue deploying the app:
The Service Provider will need to change the Team Name or the Application name (Short Name).
The app will be slated for 'Sync' again.
The Enterprise Admin will then perform another sync for the app to be deployed afresh.
If the new changes failed to be deployed, clean up the app on the Teams side and try again.
