We've redesigned our Messaging Portal with a fresh, new look and improved features to make managing your messaging configurations even easier. You can now get your work done faster with a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.

Overview

This article provides an overview of the Messaging Portal dashboard and its key features, including notifications, theme settings, profile options, and the navigation bar.

00:04: It offers an overview of the dashboard, notifications, theme settings, profile options,

00:13: Once you log in, you will be directed to the dashboard. The dashboard features the

00:17: Consent table, which displays the consents and permissions you have granted, the

00:21: Tasks table, which outlines the tasks that you, as the Enterprise Admin, need to

00:26: address, and the Custom Applications table, which lists the applications installed

00:30: within your enterprise.

00:34: In the header, you will see the bell icon, which notifies you of any pending tasks

00:38: and errors.

00:38: A red dot indicates that there is a pending task or that a process related to your

00:43: account has encountered an error.

00:45: Click on the icon to view more information.

00:48: Clicking on a specific task or error in the popup modal will direct you to the

00:52: Dashboard, where you can view the task to address or the specific item in error.

01:05: The color of this icon changes based on the system's health.

01:31: This modal displays some of your user details.

01:33: This also allows you to change the language for the portal.

01:50: Access to Support may be available depending on the features enabled for your

01:54: You will also see the Sign Out option.

01:57: The navigation bar that allows you to access the dashboard page, and various other

02:02: pages and features available in the Messaging Portal.

02:05: If your enterprise is using the SMS service, the navigation bar includes a Reports

02:09: menu with access to SMS Transaction reports and Download Reports.

02:14: Furthermore, If using the SMS service, the navigation bar also includes a Numbers

02:19: page for managing and assigning phone numbers to Teams users or groups.

02:23: The Users page.  

02:24: The Users page is used for managing users and setting up access to services like

02:29: SMS and Slack.

02:30: The navigation bar includes a Services menu that provides access to services enabled

02:35: for your enterprise.

02:36: If your enterprise has SMS service enabled, the SMS menu will be displayed.

02:40: This gives you access to the SMS configuration page, where you can view general SMS

02:46: settings, manage groups, handle carriers

02:49: if you manage your own phone numbers, and explore additional options based on your

02:53: setup.

02:54: If the Chat service is enabled for your enterprise, the Chat menu will be displayed.

02:59: By selecting Chat, you will access the Slack Workspaces page, which enables you to

03:04: manage your enterprise's chat connections with external Slack workspaces.

1. Dashboard Overview

After logging in, you are directed to the Dashboard. The Dashboard consists of three main tables:

Consents — Displays the consents and permissions you have granted.

Tasks — Outlines the tasks that you, as the Enterprise Admin, need to address.

Custom Applications — Lists the applications installed within your enterprise.

2. Header Icons

The header bar contains the following icons and controls:

Tasks and Errors (bell icon) — Alerts you to any pending tasks and errors. Click on each entry in the modal to lead you to the specific tasks or specific error.

Notifications (notepad icon — Provides a historical list of system notifications.

Status Indicator (check, x, or ! icon) — Directs you to the status announcements page. The color of this icon changes based on the system’s health.

Theme Selector (sun or moon icon) — Enables you to toggle between light and dark themes for the portal.

3. Profile & Account Options

Clicking your avatar icon in the header reveals the following options:

Profile — Displays your user details and allows you to change the portal language.

Support Tickets and Request Support — Access to support resources. Availability depends if the feature is enabled for your enterprise.

Sign Out — Ends your current session and logs you out of the Messaging Portal.

4. Navigation Bar

The navigation bar provides access to the dashboard and all pages and features within the Messaging Portal. The items available in the navigation bar may vary depending on your enterprise’s configuration.

Always Available

Dashboard — Returns you to the main dashboard.

Users — Used for managing users and configuring access to services such as SMS and Slack.

Available When SMS Service is Enabled

Reports — Provides access to SMS Transaction Reports and Download Reports.

Numbers — Used for managing and assigning phone numbers to Teams users or groups.

Services » SMS — Allows you to view SMS settings, manage SMS groups, manage SMS carriers (if you handle your own phone numbers), and access additional options based on your SMS provider.

Available When Chat Service is Enabled

Services » Chat — Allows you to connections with Slack workspaces.

Note

Some features and menu items may not be visible if they are not enabled for your enterprise. Contact your provider if you believe a feature should be available to you.
