Delete Previous Direct Routing

If you have previously set up Direct Routing, here is how to delete that Direct Routing setup cleanly so that the ConnecttoTeams Connector can be safely configured.

Instructions

  1. Logged in to ConnecttoTeams Enterprise Portal using a Microsoft Global Admin credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Microsoft Admin Center >> Teams Admin.


  3. Locate User(s) related to the Direct Route that you want to delete.



    1. For Each User Navigate to Policies >> Edit then reset their Voice Route Policy to Global Default Policy. Select Apply.





  4. Navigate to Voice >> Direct Routing.


  5. Navigate to the Voice Routes tab.



  6. Select Voice Route related to the Direct Routing you want to delete (this example demonstrates removing a previous installation of this connector - the one you will be removing will have a different name).


  7. Delete the Voice Route



  8. Once Voice Route is removed navigate to Voice routing policies.



  9. Delete Voice Route policy that is associated with the Direct Route you want to delete (This example demonstrates removing a previous installation of this connector - the one you will be removing will have a different name).



  10. (Steps 9-18 are only necessary when deleting a previous instance of this connector) Navigate to Microsoft Admin Center.



  11. Navigate to Users >> Active Users.



  12. Search for the Direct Routing User that is created by the Direct Route provider you wish to remove.



  13. Delete the User.



  14. Navigate to Settings >> Domains.



  15. Select the Domain that is set up by the Direct Route provided and Remove domain.



  16. Navigate to Azure Active Directory under Admin centers.



  17. Select Users from the left Menu.



  18. Navigate to Deleted Users.



  19. Permanently delete the User that was removed in step 14.


You will have deleted all artifacts of a Direct Routing setup for this (and other) connectors if you follow these steps.
