# SMS Notifications on Windows

This article explains how to enable your Microsoft Teams app on your Windows to display notifications when a a ConnecttoTeams SMS is received.

In order to receive SMS Notification on your Windows laptop, you must allow notifications in your Teams app settings.

1. In your Teams app for Windows, click on the 3 dots at the top bar and then choose **Settings**.

2. From the Settings choices, click on "**Notifications and activity**".

3. Make sure the notifications are not muted.

4. Scroll down until you see the **App** sections. Expand the SMS app.

* Make sure the toggle is On

* Make sure the SMS Received is set to "**Show in Activity and banner**"

* Make sure the Other Activities is set to "**Show in Activity and banner**".
