# Getting Started as an Enterprise

## Registering Your Enterprise

Congratulations on having a ConnecttoTeams Enterprise account. We're thrilled to have you on board.

Your journey with your ConnecttoTeams Enterprise account begins with a welcome email sent to the address you provided to your ConnecttoTeams provider.

To complete the registration, your Microsoft Teams user must have a **Global Admin** role in your Microsoft organization.

1. Click on the **Complete Registration** button.

2. Login with your Microsoft user account.
3. Grant permissions as needed. Certain permissions to ensure the Enterprise Portal functions correctly and can retrieve necessary data from Microsoft systems. Others are optional, meaning some non-essential - but helpful - features may not be available to your organization if they are not granted.

To learn more about these permissions, check [Microsoft Permissions for the Enterprise Portal](/v1/docs/microsoft-permissions-for-the-enterprise-portal).
4. You will then land on the Enterprise Portal’s Manage Groups page. At this point, you can either allow the system to retrieve data **for all users in your tenant** (by leaving the group selection empty), or you can specify a **few select groups**.

Specifying groups helps minimize data exposure risks and reduces system synchronization load—ideal when only a subset of users require access to ConnecttoTeams services.

To learn more about this, check [Manage User Groups](/v1/docs/enterprise-user-groups).
5. You will then land on your [Enterprise Dashboard](/v1/docs/dashboard). Explore the Enterprise Portal with the help of the [Enterprise Portals](/v1/docs/welcome-email) guides. Also see the following section which talks about two types of portals.

## The Enterprise Portals

ConnecttoTeams provides two tailored portals designed to optimize the data you see based on the specific services your organization uses.

1. The Standard Enterprise Portal for those using calling services such as PBX and Trunk. This portal is also used when the enterprise has messaging services - such as SMS or Chat - as additional service.

The main Standard Portal is available at [https://enterprise.connecttoteams.com.](https://enterprise.connecttoteams.com.) Your provider may offer a different URL that may include resources specifically for your use.
2. The Messaging Portal for those using SMS or Chat only.

The main Messaging Portal is online at [https://messaging.connecttoteams.com.](https://messaging.connecttoteams.com.) Your provider may offer a different URL that may include resources specifically for your use.
