# Configure Connector for 3CX

3CX is a popular single tenant PBX. Many 3CX distributors package use the ConnecttoTeams Connector to link 3CX either in a PBX or a SIP Trunk configuration. This article describes the information you need from 3CX to configure a PBX user in Microsoft Teams using ConnecttoTeams.

Once you have completed [setup of Direct Routing](/v1/docs/set-up-direct-routing) and are ready for Step 6 in the [Step-by-Step Guide](/v1/docs/pbx-connector-installation-step-by-step-guide) you will need to populate the 3CX PBX information as follows:

## Configure PBX Settings

| Hostname* | PBX SIP Domain |
| UDP* | PBX Outbound Transport Type |
| SIP Proxy (or Hostname again, if no proxy) | PBX SIP Domain Proxy |
| 5060 (unless using a non-standard port)* | PBX SIP Domain Proxy Port |
| Alternate Domain Name (or hostname again is no alternate domain) | Domain Alias |
| Feature Code used to check voicemail | Voicemail Feature Code |

* Hostname, Transport Type and Port are required fields.

## Configure PBX User

To set up a 3CX User you will need to populate certain information from 3CX into ConnecttoTeams on the Add User page as seen below:
